A Tenerife Diary, Eric Ennion
One Man's Birds

One Man's Birds by Eric Ennion

One Man's Birds focuses on the field sketches which Eric Ennion made in the 1930's and which remained at the heart of his work as a wildlife artist for the next 40 years. The book reproduces 475 individual studies as well as the 26 composite plates which he prepared for Bird Man's River (the manuscript of which was only rediscovered after One Man's Birds had been published). The text is taken from Eric Ennion’s magazine articles of the period and material he prepared for a projected book about bird holidays, perfectly complementing the delightful watercolours which were his life-time reference material.

Edited, with an introduction, by Bob Walthew.

144 pages (280 x 240 mm). Colour illustrations throughout.
